I hope the new year is off to a good start already. I apologize for being absent from the site a lot more than I used to be, but as I am in my 3rd year of college, I have more school work than ever before.

Anyway, back in December a lot of our site's amazing authors contributed to the 2011 Winter Wonderland Challenge and a winning entry was chosen! All of the entries were fabulous, so congratulations to all participants.

So the winner of the 2011 Winter Wonderland Challenge is The Muse! Her story, The Snow King was chosen as the favorite! Congrats to The Muse!

I know I promised all of you a challenge last week, so I apologize for taking so long to post it. This week has been horrible for me.

Anyway...
This month, CBF will be hosting the 2011 Winter Wonderland Challenge to celebrate the time of year!

This contest is open to everyone, and the winner will become January 2012's Author of the Month! All you have to do to enter is write a story with one to four chapters involving a winter or holiday theme. It must be submitted to the official challenge on the challenge page. Stories must be submitted and completed by the deadline, which will be December 26th.

Things to note:
~Stories do not have to be religious, but can be if you make sure to note that in the story notes.
~ Stories can be Het, Slash, or General.
~ Make sure to complete and submit stories to the official challenge by the deadline. Also make sure the story says it is "complete".
~Please keep it to one to four chapters.
